Hello, could you change the sidebar link for "Página principal" from "Página Principal Alternativa" to "Página principal" ? The new page is already online.

Also, please change system message "editing" from "Editando $1" to "Editando". There is an extra "$1" showing when you edit pages, I believe this is why.

Cometi um vacilo, mudei o skin de minha página e optei por um que deve ter sido criado por algum debil mental pois não mostra diversos comandos (como os da coluna da esquerda, por exemplo) inclusive o acesso ao comando que permite modificar minhas preferências. Já tentei de todas as formas resolver isso mas não consegui, se por caridade um adminstrador tiver acesso a minha conta e puder mudar meu skin para o padrão eu agradeço, ou vou ter que cancelar minha conta (pior que nem a isso eu tenho acesso) pra iniciar outra. Caso eu esteja sendo toupeira e não encontre os comandos (pô, procurei pra dedéu) peço mil desculpas e recomendo que este skin seja retirado das opções, nem lembro o nome, mas tem algo a ver com retrô...

Quando clico em sair volta o skin padrão da desciclopédia, mas se eu logo entra a porcaria de skin que passei a usar e nada de permitir voltar ao normal...

Já os chamados usuários vagabundos registrados, podem até editar as páginas semiprotegidos, mas não podem eliminar, restaurar eliminação ou bloqueio e nem editar páginas MediaWiks. The old/dead Boteco threads have been fixed by deleting them, then undeleting them (keeping all but the latest revision). The predef redirects have been checked to ensure that they are no longer in use anywhere before deleting them; in cases where there are many appearances (such as {{wikipedia}} -> {{wikipédia}}) I've left the redirects in place. There must be a thousand of those.

I've been trying for the last two days or so to sort out the mess of predefinições (many are uncategorised, miscategorised, or have incorrect HTML coding) and to deal with problems with categories. Redirection of predefinições is something that can be tolerated if it's needed, but redirection of categories is best avoided - after redirection the old category still contains articles but any attempt to see a list of those articles fails (as the request is redirected). Muito bom! Agora ficou legal, mas não teria como simplicar um pouco? Criar um código mais fácil, como {{Display|parâmetros|outros parâmetros}}, que bastaria o usuário escolher a cor, a fonte, etc. Aliás, teria como, no mesmo código, poder usar 3 cores diferentes? Eu notei que a www.desciclopedia.ws está redirecionado ao www.desciclopedia.org, mas o problemas do .org é que ele está desatualizada, como o www.desciclo.pedia.ws. A prova é que quando você tenta eliminar um artigo lixo, ela não aparece as causas normais da eliminação, comparado com o desciclopedia.pt que está funcionando todas as suas funções como a do www.desciclopedia.ws . Apenas da intenção da Desciclopedia de ser um site satírico, isso nem sempre é bem compreendido; e é muito grave o fato de que o conteúdo da página acima faça alusão a consumo de drogas, o que é calunioso e pode afugentar possíveis novos alunos, prejudica financeiramente nossa instituição, que mantém diversas obras assistenciais.

Em face disso, nos reportamos aos administradores pedindo a gentileza de que a página acima seja excluída ou, pelo menos, que o conteúdo ofensivo mais grave seja apagado. Hi Carl! Well, I'm the owner of the bot Predator (Disc ctrib EC logs BM), currently flagged as a bot here. I'm having issues regarding its use since you've installed the new MediaWiki version. When I want to run the bot, the Python stops processing accusing that it can't retrieve any page, recommending me to set the skin of my bot to MonoBook, which is already set. Any solutions? TIA. Emb. As far as I know, it is still possible to run pywikipediabot on this site (hymie o rôbo updates {{pagecount}} daily - and that still works under MW 1.16a with no changes to the rôbo). While MW1.16 does add one new skin (vector), it is optional and is not the default on the site. The predator user is already set to the default, Monobook, in especial:preferências. The underlying database records for the user preferências were moved (from `user` to `user_properties`) internally within 1.16a but that shouldn't be causing the 'bot to not run? botwiki: might have some info? --Carlb 19h58min de 24 de agosto de 2009 (BRT)

Hi Carlb,

I knew you updated the software version last weekend. A few users, including me, had betting (for fun, no money) at forums like that, for e.g. the results for the matches of the Brazilian Football (Soccer) League '09.

I wrote a template for betting calculation that showed the scores and points from each punter according to the rules we agreed on, but with the new software version, such pages (with this template) had problems not previously presented (on old software v.) probably because excessive parser functions used in actual template.

On example above, you can see results on green (full scores bet hit - 3 points), grey (partial hit: win, lose or tie, but not the exact scores - 1 point) and red (missed bet). On top of each bet table, you see a calculation (sum) of this points, for each user. That calculation works well in a Few initial bets, but below (just like that) the calculation functions just do not work.

This pages are categorized at Category:Páginas com demasiadas chamadas custosas a funções do analisador "parser". Is there any effective way to solve this inconvenience, keepin' that template code?

I don't know if Kohl had already contacted you, but it's quite possible that he and some dutch users from UnMeta warn you about an supposed coup that Desciclopédia users may be done. Kohl had his privileges (sysop/bureaucrat) revoked due to some Windows Live Messenger conversation logs that show him imposing, manipulating and condemning others in DP. If you can and have the patience for this, check the page "Forum:Kohl". I'm just sending this message to ask you not do anything rash without verifying the facts. Kohl may tell you a lot of lies. For him, the whole Wiki is your enemy. So i just want to ask you a thing, maybe in name of all the users that like Desciclopédia: please take a wise decision to not let Desciclopédia die.

Any images from January 19-24 will need to be re-uploaded. While the article text is stored on more than one server using database replication, and all text was recovered after last week's server problems, the images were restored from backups which were a few days out of date so a small number are missing. Franklin said that, apparently, is needed to install the extension cu_log.sql.
